Roof Inspection

A free look at the whole roof by a roofer, with photos and a plain-language verdict.

Free roof inspection quote

Free. No obligation. Takes about a minute.

By sending this form you agree that we and our roofing contractor may contact you by phone, text or email about your request. See our privacy policy.

An inspection answers three questions: what condition is the roof in, what needs attention now, and roughly how long it has left. You get photos of anything found, so you’re not taking anyone’s word for it.

It’s the right first step if you’re buying or selling, if your insurer has asked about the roof, or if you just haven’t had anyone up there in years.

What’s included

  • Shingles or roof covering, ridges, valleys and edges
  • Flashing, pipe boots, vents and skylights
  • Gutters and visible fascia and soffit
  • Attic check for moisture and ventilation where accessible
  • Photos and a written summary of findings

Questions

Free roof inspection: common questions

How long does an inspection take?

Plan for about an hour on site for a typical single-family home.

Do I need to be home?

It helps, mainly for attic access and so the roofer can walk you through the findings. An exterior-only inspection can be done without you there.

Is this the same as a wind mitigation or four-point inspection?

No. Those are insurance forms completed by specifically qualified inspectors. This is a roofer’s condition inspection and quote.
